I just thought some Natalie Dee needed to be on here. This woman is absolutely hilarious, she makes me laugh, and love the fact that I am alive. xoxo Nat.

I'm Married!!! Pretty excited. We're currently settling into married life in a 2 bed, 2 bath historic home with 2 humans and 3 happy and gassy greyhounds. It's been hard transitioning from a 3 bed, 2 bath but we're getting there. Just one good yard sale and a trip to Goodwill.

I am really looking forward to having a sewing room and time to sew again! These two pink baby quilts were made for a friend of mine. She and her hubby had twin girls! They are the cutest little girls: Presley and Paige.

Can't wait to have some more projects to be working on!!!

And an update of the house.... via pics.

This is just something that I am toying with... thinking something black white and yellow for my bedroom...
I've got a few projects that I'm working on right now. Here, czech it:

This is my front bathroom, I am planning on glazing plates with silouettes and then placing then randomly inbetween the mirrors...
Here is one of my silouette plates. This is the teensy tiny little guy that goes under a teacup.
This is basically the idea.... got it from DesignMom (http://www.designmom.com/)
Some pretty things that I have been longing for lately...

I need to knit these legwarmers STAT!

This is a purse by Loungefly. I have a Day of the Dead skull bag of theirs right now (matching wallet, too) love it. So fun!
Yeah, I know... it's been a long time, BUT change has been in the air and I've actually stayed with something long enough that I might get to do something really really neat at work.

Our operations manager quit about a month ago and all of a sudden many, MANY ideas, options, and jobs are all of a sudden able to come to fruition. Long story short, Amber and I are going to be piloting a study and working as much as we can (while still staffing) in the ER to see where our impact will be. Both of us are bound and determined to present fool-proof data that proves that a pharmacist in the ER will prevent medication errors, will improve time to first antibiotic (neonatal fever, neutropenic fever), reduce missing meds, reduce the phone calls, improve nursing/pharmacy relations, as well as provide a face for pharmacy in the ER. I am really excited. I cannot wait to put my mark on this hospital and to make a difference. YES!

Also on the home front, I have completed the tiling of my bathroom. With the help of my brother, Brian. Czech it!

Just beginning the process. The red floor is actually a water-proof membrane that is called Red-Guard. It's pretty neat stuff!

This is the back corner where the bathtub is sitting. Brian and I decided to make all the funky/tiny cuts back here b/c no one will see them with the tub right on them! No grout yet :(

Here is the bathroom sans toilet, sink, mirror, fun stuffs BUT the grout is DONE!
Yay bathroom! Haven't sealed the toilet to the floor and the sink isn't bolted to the wall and the floor, yet. This is the dry run. The tub isn't plumbed yet either.

Yes, I know this one is on it's side. It's called poor planning on my part. Oh well, you get the idea. :) This tub is an original antique cast iron tub. It's super awesome, in great shape, and best of all.... it is already in my bathroom awaiting my plumbing!!! YAR!

I'm also looking at updating and doing SOMEthing with the kitchen.... color schemes? I don't know... These are the colors of my living room (Organic Green) and then blue (something...) in the Dining room. It's usually not this messy, but I was painting. The kitchen is on the other side of this blue room... no dividing wall so I'm really having a hard time determining what color to make it.. don't want anyone having a seizure when they walk into the house. I am thinking of painting the kitchen white... or maybe just leaving it light yellow for now as I am TOTALLY burned out on painting. I am currently thinking vintage red as an accent color. My brother bought me this poster for Christmas -- it is AWESOME! and the inspiration for my color selection. :) Currently it is in a black frame with a black border.... but I'm thinking ornate white... We'll see..and I love how kitschy this looks!! So clean, too!And I wish I could have a pink kitchen. I really love love love love pink.. :) xoxo

Real quick, before I forget:

Things I love:

Mike and I arriving in Kalamazoo - short drive from Charlotte. His parents let us borrow the car and we went to the place where he used to work. GOOOOD mexican food!

Now we're having fun with this snowball fight with Mike's friend Chris. We really had alot of fun, but were pretty happy to come back to 50 degrees and no snow on the ground!

This is somewhere about 3 shots and a martini deep in Kalamazoo. It's so pretty there with all the lights :)
